Medical personnel that will be deployed to fight Ebola in Africa will be trained in a former factory in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Besides a facility in Brussels, Amsterdam now has a training facility to educate Ebola personnel from all over the world.

In the temporary education facility not only doctors and nurses will be trained. Also location coordinators, logistics workers and personnel for maintenance will follow the course of two days.

Two weeks ago Doctors Without Borders made public that hundreds of doctors are needed to help Ebola victims in Africa and to fight the virus to spread. In the Netherlands 200 people came forward, but only 13 doctors turned out to be suitable due to very strict selection criteria. The recruitment by Doctors Without Borders obviously continues.
