In the Netherlands, Geert Wilders, one of the toughest opponents of Islam in Europe, will maybe soon be the winner of the Dutch elections. In the polls on March 15, his party is just behind the liberal VVD of prime minister Mark Rutte. Why is it that this lone wolf and the right-wing politician succeeds in inspiring so many Dutchmen?
