This week, two the suspected gunman and the getaway driver involved in last year's murder of the best-known Dutch investigative journalist were arrested. Next week the verdict against the actual "hit squad" is to be pronounced. The ARD program Europamagazin summarises the main findings in the case of Peter R. de Vries and asks whether the country has in the meantime been able to free itself from the "grip" of the drug mafia. Over the last years the brother and the lawyer of the crown witness in the larges liquidation trial were liquidated. Peter R. de Vries was the crown witness's confidant. Video Link!
